I’m a broadcaster and writer from Kirkcudbright, right on the Solway coast in the south-west of Scotland.
After graduating with honours from the University of Paisley, I spent eight years working in commercial radio for the Bauer group – four of them as host of the region’s most-listened to show. In 2012, I decided to turn down a new contract to try some new challenges.
I went on to work for the BBC, first in Dumfries & Galloway and then nationally, as well as making videos and taking on various media projects for all kinds of people.
Nowadays, I’m a producer and newsreader at BBC Radio Scotland. I also continue to write for Dumfries & Galloway Life Magazine. Please do get in touch if I can help with something…
